How to Play the Airsoft Game at Night
Have you ever played airsoft at night, pitch black, no lights other than flashlights and lasers?
I played a game at pitch black except for the moonlight. Me and my bud were laying in the middle of a field with small bushes then suddenly a small patrol of 2 walk RIGHT by us with flashlights but they didn't see us. I simply nod my head at my teammate and we slowly emerge behind them, put their pistols to their back, and cover their mouths for the kill. It was glorious. Soon after, their final team mate comes back and while my firesquad buddy pins him down behind a tree, I make my way around in the darkness and get him with a single pistol shot. Moral of the story: Flashlights and Lasers aren't needed to play night games. Stealth is a major factor in night games. You have to really know your surroundings to play without the lasers and flashlights though.
So you need a dark technology, the night vision goggles-PVS-21.
If you want to play airsoft in the night, there are things you can bring:
Also have a red dot. It does no good to shoot and not know where you're shooting. Night play is slow, so in any down time reload and get ready for another attack. Also last tip don't have your flash light or laser on all the time only turn them on when youre going to shoot.

- Balaclava: No one needs to hear you sniffle all night long
- Flashlight on gun, or off, so you can move safely when dead or getting to the action
- Glowsticks: Either drop them to mark positions of interest, or stick them in the back of friendly molle straps so you don't lose each other
- Lasers: Tacticool
- NVG: If you have them, cool, if you don't oh well.
- Reflective tape, or glow in dark stickers: Slap them on shit that you might lose, IE mags, toolkits, mags.
- Comms: Nothing like getting lost in the dark.
- Gloves: Fingers get cold.
- A second layer depending on weather
- A sense of disappointment because you don't know what the fuck is going on
- Envy/hate/fear at the fucker with the purple laser and night scope sniping motherfuckers with a 800 dollar sniper rifle on the other team
