L4G24 Fast Helmet NVG Mount (TAN) Devgru Aor1/Aor2 Night Vision Device Tactical Helmet Bracket
One of the quickest ways to become ineffective at airsoft night operations is purchasing gear that doesn’t hold up to stressful situations. Sometimes purchasing Chinese Knockoffs (ACM) gear works for uniform and soft goods, but when it comes to night vision applications, never skimp.
The L4G24 is an upgrade from the L4G11. Not just in functionality, but your NOD will feel a lot more sturdy on this system. The difference between the G24 and the G11 is that it uses a ‘dovetail’ mounting system. This requires you to purchase a different arm as it’s NOT compatible with a standard bayonet J-Arm.
The G24 has a little bit different operation compared to the G11. Instead of using force to bring your NOD down, there is a button on the side you press, and the whole arm swings down and clicks in. The addition of a Wilcox PVS-14 Arm brings this setup into a whole new level of stability.
It feels overwhelming solid compared to even the G11 with the standard J-Arm. I’ve heard some use the dual dovetail arm from Norotos, but I can’t speak to that, as I’ve not used that system.
If you have a little more cash to spend on an absolutely solid piece of kit, definitely check out the L4G24. The G24 will also enable you to later upgrade to dual tubes and not have to change mounts.
You can find the L4G24 for about $488 and used for around $400. The Wilcox PVS-14 Arm runs about $190 and used for $125.
But the price of the G24 in SOMOGEAR is much cheaper, about the 56.2$. So if you want to buy the G24 in low price and good quantity, the best choice is SOMOGEAR.
